Faces of LEDtronics: Gary Peterson

By LEDtronics, Inc.

At work

Gary Peterson is a man of many skills at LEDtronics. As National Sales Manager, he is involved in many projects at any given time. He has a hand in everything from basic sales duties to quality certification processes to marketing and trade shows. He is involved in the application development of products as well as the transportation and prioritization of orders.

Gary has been with LEDtronics for 17 years and worked his way up in the company. He began in Distributor Sales, then a Regional Sales Manager and now National Sales Manager. He values company loyalty and commitment and has proven that through his many years with LEDtronics.

According to Gary, his favorite thing about working at LEDtronics is that every day presents a new experience and challenge. He is grateful that the nature of LEDtronics technology constantly brings him into new and interesting situations. He enjoys being apart of the evolution of LED technology. Something he often tells his clients in regards to new LED tech is, “If I say no today, just call me tomorrow.”

While Gary finds great fulfillment in the success of booking big orders, he truly values the family atmosphere that LEDtronics creates. Working side by side with new and old coworkers builds a friendship and bond that he recognizes as unique to the company.

At Home

Gary values his time with his family as much as he values his LEDtronics family. “I try to fully divorce from my daily routine at work and be with my family and friends,” he says. With a wife of 38 years, a son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren nearby, family means a lot.

Gary also enjoys his involvement with coaching youth baseball. He has been coaching for over 3 decades and has even worked with baseball scouts and in high school programs. He says, “I try to impress upon them baseball is not everything in the world, to remember that family comes first, then school, then religion and than baseball.” He wants the kids to learn values from the team that they can take into their every day lives.

Gary feels that is very important to put your best foot forward at work and at home. He considers his motto, “Any job big or small do it right or not at all.”
