New Direct Incandescent Replacement Bill Validator LED Lamps Ensure the Integrity of Currency-Accepting Machines
28-JUN-99

TORRANCE, CA — June 28, 1998— LEDtronics® continues to create products that you can bank on for excellent performance and cost-effectiveness by introducing Bill Validator LED Lamps, innovative new direct-incandescent replacement LED (light emitting diode) lamps for bill validator mechanisms.

Bill Validator LED Lamps interface with a variety of gaming machines, and its advanced, solid-state design ensures the integrity of your operation by reducing downtime losses and maintenance costs. Bill Validator LED Lamps can be designed with standard discrete LEDs, sunlight-visible LEDs or SMT surface mount, low-profile LEDs in all colors including red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white.

With it’s brightness and durability, a wide variety of industries and applications ranging from gaming and amusement to beverage and vending machine manufacturers would all benefit from incorporating LEDtronics®’ compact Bill Validator LED lamps into their product design and manufacturing processes.

Solid-state design renders the Bill Validator LED lamp impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes without compromising performance, making it an excellent choice for casinos, amusement parks and cafeteria vending machines. Typically, LEDs operate for 100,00 hours (11 years) or more. That’s more than 10-20 times longer than an incandescent lamp! And, a significant decrease in maintenance cost and downtime losses!

The Bill Validator LED lamp delivers excellent visibility and color definition while using only a fraction of the power that an incandescent of similar luminosity requires.
