These stacked columns are used for indicating the status of a process or machine in such applications as assembly lines, conveyor systems, automated systems, workshops, etc. Different colors in the stacked columns allow one to communicate such things as machine shutdown, shortage of material, supervisor
attention, etc.

The LEDtronics® StackLED® family includes a specific series of 360 degree clustered LED lamps as direct replacements for each of the vertical stacked column(s) from Telemechanique / Square D Company; Federal Signal Corporation; Joslyn Clark Controls; G.E. Elec Dist & Ctrl; Siemens (Europe); and Sirena (Italy). Additionally, a standard series of clustered LED lamps is available for any customer requiring a 360 degree illuminated product.

Each lamp consists of a group of LEDs arrayed in a multi-tiered cluster that maximizes illumination output plus a properly fitted base for connection to the holder. The types of bases available include Edison Screw, 15mm Bayonet, Double Contact Bayonet, Candelabra, or the 9mm Miniature Bayonet. These highly visible LED based lamps are available in six different standard colors: 660nm- red; 585nm- yellow; 565nm- green; 610nm- orange; 470nm- blue; and 479nm- lime white. Special configured ultra color LED based lamps are also available.

The StackLEDs® perform especially well in the industrial arena being shock and vibration resistant ( i.e. direct machine mounting, conveyor mount, etc.) and tolerant of temperature extremes. Their excellent visibility ( in excess of 100 feet), color definition, low power consumption (energy costs reduced by up to 85%), long life (approximately 100,000 hours or 50 times the life of an incandescent lamp), and virtually no maintenance make them ideal for the multitude of applications where vertical stacked indicator columns are required.
