TORRANCE, CA — May 26, 2004 — LEDtronics® announces price reductions for its sunlight-visible AUT-1157/1156 15mm Bayonet Based and AUT-3157/3156
Wedge Based LED automotive bulbs. LEDtronics' automotive LED Lamps are designed
to be plug-compatible replacements for incandescent 1157/1156 and 3157/3156
bulbs in brake/turn/tail and backup lights in most cars, motorcycles, forklifts,
ATVs and trailers. Price reductions range from 15% - 40% depending on the model.
LEDtronics' patented LED automotive bulbs are the brightest LED bulbs on the
market. Our automotive LED lamps either feature 24 Super Red (633nm), Super
Yellow (595nm) or Cool White (8000K) 5mm LEDs that are configured to maximize
brightness and to fill the entire light fixture. Eighteen LEDs direct light
straight through the vehicle's fixture. An additional six LEDs are arranged
perpendicular to the lamp base and radiate light onto the light fixture's reflector
to illuminate the entire surface of the fixture. Total light output is as follows:
Super Red emits 100 end footcandles, Super Yellow produces 72 end footcandles
and Cool White generates 124 end footcandles. AUT-1157 LEDs feature built-in
current-limiting resistors and polarity-protection diodes to assure that circuit
modifications are not required.
By integrating solid-state electronics with advanced LED technology LEDtronics'
