TORRANCE, CA — April 30, 2004 — LEDtronics® introduced today John Henckel as their new sales representative for Northern Europe
(Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria).
Mr. Henckel brings 35 years of experience in electronics, manufacturing
and sales to the solid-state lighting arena. His practical understanding
of LEDs makes it possible for him to showcase LED solutions in complex
lighting applications, while his ingenuity enables him to conceptualize
how LED technology can be used to solve unique or unusual problems. Recently,
Mr. Henckel took the lead in developing LED lamps for use in the examination
areas of medical evacuation helicopters, which had been plagued by the
heat generation and failure of halogen bulbs.
One of Mr. Henckel's primary tasks as LEDtronics’ Northern European
Representative will be to find dynamic distributors processing strong
knowledge of the expanding LED sector in order to direct LEDtronics’ products
into the German, Austrian and Netherlands marketplaces. Headquartered
in southern Denmark, Mr. Henckel provides application assistance and other
value-added customer services.
