The following assumes the user's competent knowledge of electrical wiring and insulation, and all cutting and splicing is done with power disconnected. Wire leads that need to be cut while attached to a power supply will be separated and individually cut to avoid any residual current lurking in the power supply.
The 12/14Vdc FloodLED Floodlight has raw wire red Positive and black Negative leads to be spliced onto a 12/14Vdc power supply with Positive wire leads and Negative wire leads using wiring nuts, if preferred. Power jacks attached to power supplies can be cut off, and the wires stripped of insulation for splicing.
To easily connect or disconnect the Floodlamp using power jacks, a female powerjack like ADPT-STP-002 will have to be spliced onto the Floodlight's leads, positive wire to positive wire, negative wire to negative wire.

Red and Black wires exit from the GDL002 Floodlight unit.
The RED wire is Positive (+) and BLACK wire is the Negative (-) lead
To connect the GDL002 12-Volt DC Floodlight unit to a LEDtronics 120VoltAC-to-12VoltDC power transformer, like LEDtronics Part PLT-1003-303:
Use a female 2.1mm coax adaptor jack like LEDtronics' part ADPT-STP-002.
Strip about quarter inch off the insulation from the red
and black wire and then connect the RED and BLACK wires to the like color
wires on the GDL002 12VoltDC LED Floodlight unit.
Use either electrical tap or wire nuts to cover the exposed
bare wire on each Positive (+) and BLACK (-) wire. Do not let the Positive
(+) and BLACK (-) wire come in contact with each other, do not let the bare
+ and - wires touch each other.
Plug the connector from the 120VoltAC-to-12VoltDC power
transformer into the connector (ADPT-STP-001) adaptor that you connected to
the GDL002 12VoltDC Floodlight unit.
Plug the 120VoltAC-to-12VoltDC power transformer into a
wall outlet, the GDL002 12VoltDC Floodlight unit should now light-up.
