OptiLED™ Light Pipes Channel SMT LED - Generated Light
to Required Locations

(Torrance, CA) announces the availability of OptiLed™ light pipes.
The product was created in response to the complicated nature of personal
circuit boards (PCBs) and the role of surface-mount technology (SMT)
light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The light pipes, when applied with a SurfLED
SMT LED, channels LED-generated light to the location where light is
needed. The light pipes, made to snap in or press-fit to PCBs after soldering,
are designed to reduce the need for resistant materials and tooling.
The light pipes allow a 180-degree viewing angle and are available in
square, rectangular, round and flush-mount configurations. Available
standard lens sizes include 3mm, 3 x 5 and 2.8mm. They may be ordered
individually or in quantities up to 25.
