The RGB-1007-001, a low-profile through-hole LED that offers full-spectrum red,
green and blue LED (RGB LED) has been announced by LEDtronics. The discrete LEDs
provide 'excellent' performance and terrific visibility in a compact size of only
4.9mm x 6.5mm +0.15. The red, green and blue diodes emit high-intensity light
in a viewing angle of 120 degrees.
The red diode's wavelength is 635nm. The wavelength of the green diode is 520nm.
Blue operates at 470nm. Depending on the colour, luminous intensities range
from 230mcd to 750mcd with current between 20mA and 25mA current. A water clear
lens protects the diode array, says the company.
