High Power, Low Wattage Floodlight

High-power WWL20-24X2W-XPW-001W floodlights run on a wide range of voltages, from 100 to 277VAC, consuming only 56 watts of power. Standard wall-pack luminaires are notorious for reduced control of light output because of their poor optical configuration, contributing to light pollution, wasted uplight and shallow light projections. The high-power LEDtronics Wall-Pak’s design achieves more efficient illumination coverage, because the optical center of the lens is aligned with the lamp source for an even symmetrical distribution of light that redirects light to minimize glare. It effectively sends a wide-focused circular beam of around 85 degrees that spreads 157 degrees vertically and 38 degrees horizontally. The WWL20-24X2W-XPW-001W floodlight boasts an outstanding color quality, a 6000K pure-white light with 2,777 lumens of brightness. It uses 24 highest-grade CREE XR-E LEDs that meets LM-79/LM-80 requirements, and incorporates a ballast of 0.99 power factor that supplies constant-current power. Its one-piece silicone gasket seals housing and lens frame, locking out moisture and dust, and the all-weather housing is finished with durable, rust- and corrosion-proof architectural bronze.

Because LEDs have no filaments, their solid-state design renders them impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. With an average lifespan of more than 50,000 hours (5.7-plus years), white LED bulbs operate more than 20 times longer than the equivalent incandescent bulbs. Unlike compact fluorescents, LEDs contain no harmful mercury, and because they do not emit large amounts of heat, UV or infrared light, they protect what they are illuminating. Also, since LED lights are 300% more efficient than compact fluorescent lamps, this wall fixture is most suitable for operating on an alternative or renewable energy resource such as solar or wind power. Additionally, LEDs produce no harmful ultraviolet or infrared radiation, reducing light pollution, while their efficient light output makes themcompatible with the international “Dark Skies” initiative. The fact that they run remarkably cool in turn means they greatly reduce the fire hazard normally associated with the use of incandescent lamps.
