REGIONAL SALES
REPRESENTATIVE
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and teambuilding skills as
well as demonstrated strength in increasing sales and expanding markets within a
broad customer base with both OEM and RMO distribution. This individual will
develop long and short-term sales plans, establish strong working relationships
with both representative and distributor networks, obtain new customers and
identify new markets. Extensive travel is required to service existing customers
and expand new customer base. Position is instrumental in maintaining
exceptional customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:

various product training formats for distribution sales

programs for distribution network

evaluate distributor marketplace
Requirements:
-
BA/BS degree a plus
-
5+ years experience
-
Extensive product
knowledge base (LEDs, electronic components, lighting)
-
Extensive knowledge
and ability in technical engineering design and practical application.

Extensive knowledge in
Sales, Marketing, Product and Program Management
-
Excellent
presentation, oral and written communication skills.
-
Negotiation
skills/relationship management/interpersonal skills
-
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office
-
50-60% travel – SW
to Mid-West territory
-
Must be present in
Torrance office when not traveling.
ELECTROMECHANICAL
ENGINEER
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Creates assembly
drawings for product manufacturing.
-
Translates vendor and customer specifications.
-
Maintains files for drawing traceability and ECR history.
-
Design of electronic circuits (LED, Power Supplies) used in lighting products.
-
Manage projects from customer interface through final design review.
-
Understands the materials and methods normally used within the assigned
discipline.
-
Makes required changes, additions/revisions as directed by immediate
supervisor.
-
Specialization in electronic equipment, accessories, and optics preferred.
-
Will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing teams to
design, develop and document new products.
-
Provide Manufacturing support and tooling, develop supplier, improve on
existing designs to enhance effectiveness, performance and reliability.
-
Plan and design new production processes.
-
Devise, conduct and evaluate performance testing.
-
Design in accordance with approval agency requirements; UL & CSA.
-
Perform duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety guidelines and
procedures at all times.
-
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
BSME/BSEE and 3 years experience.
-
Proficient with AutoCAD 2000.
-
Experience in the mechanical/technical drafting field.
-
Experience in injection molding and related tool and die design.
-
Experience with PCB layout and associated electronic circuits a plus.
-
Working knowledge of High Flux LEDs
-
Able to work with Circuit Analysis Program (Spice)
-
Familiarity with Photonics measurements
-
Has a sense of urgency and works well with little or no supervision.
-
Proven success in leading cross-functional product development
teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
