TORRANCE, CA - February 04, 2008 - LEDtronics announces an LED Light AquariumBar for Fish Tank Aquariums. LED-AquariumBar is equipped with five LED clusters for maximum light output and can be used in both marine and freshwater aquariums. Comes in distinctive clamshell packaging suitable for shelf or hook displays and is packaged with instructions and everything necessary for immediate product use, by itself or in combination with other LED-AquariumBars.

Based on our patented LED grow light technology, the AquariumBar with its broad-spectrum light output supports and enhances growth and development of all photosynthesizing aquatic organisms such as plants, algae, and bacteria commonly found in both the fresh and saltwater aquariums. Low light pollution minimizes interference with an aquarium’s existing "view lighting". With its QuickStick suction cups, it can be mounted in any orientation to light an aquarium from the top, sides, back, or even the bottom of the aquarium (provided a clear glass bottom of the tank with no gravel or covering). An optional mounting hardware pack is available for attaching the AquariumBar into popular PC lighting mounting channels.

For the serious aquarist, the AquariumBar provides excellent primary and supplemental grow lighting for all types of aquatic plants, algae, corals, and photosynthesizing bacteria. All the AquariumBar's internal parts are conformal coated with a waterproof sealant that meets military specifications. A low voltage design means greater operational safety around wet environments and reduces risks to children and pets. AquariumBar runs on extremely low energy sources, just 6–9 watts per AquariumBar. Saves energy, using about the same energy per light bar as a standard nightlight bulb. Its cool operating temperature not only prevents unwanted heating of the aquarium but also eliminates the need for noisy cooling fans. The AquariumBar provides an excellent addition to existing fluorescent white lighting fixtures used for display.

LED-AquariumBar is 21 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. One 5-cluster AquariumBar covers 24 inches of aquarium width (parallel to the bar). The LED-AquariumBar is ideal for marine saltwater aquariums up to 18 inches deep and freshwater aquariums up to 24 inches deep.

The price of one kit consisting of an LED-AquariumBar with Power Supply (120VoltAC-to-12VoltDC) and Power Cord is $305.00 each. Quantity discounts are available.
