LEDs replace Incandescents

Direct replacements for #1383 R-12-styled incandescent lamps, Series Bx630 LED-based R-12 lamps have a 15-mm single-contact bayonet base and come in 2.58-in. (BL630) and 3.58-in. (BXL630) lengths.

Available in multiple colors including white, the 30-LED lamps draw 12 to 14 V at 2.4 W, and have integrated resistors to prevent short circuits. (From $55—stock to 6 weeks ARO.)

With an average LED life span of 100,000-plus hours (11 years), LEDs operate reliably year after year. Solid-state design renders LEDs impervious to electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental fluctuation. Integrated current-limited resistors prevent short-circuiting. LED lamps use only 10 to 20 percent of the energy consumed by equivalent incandescent lamps that, when combined with their maintenance-free operation, results in substantial cost savings.

BL630/BXL630 LED lamps start at $55 each, depending on quantity.
