ISO-9001 standards.

The quality management standards for the ISO-9000 program were developed
by the International Organization for Standardization, based in Geneva,
Switzerland. In order to receive certification, a company must document
its quality management system and provide objective evidence that it follows
this system in order to sucessfully complete the registration audit process.
Once registration is achieved, the company is subject to continuing review
and audit to maintain certification.
There are four levels of ISO-9000 standards, the most rigorous being ISO-9001.
Twenty elements of the company's quality system are audited, including design,
development, production, installation and service. Registration to ISO-9001
quality standards has become an international benchmark of quality management
in manufacturing. In addition, it is increasingly becoming a prerequisite
for doing business in international markets.
The ISO-9001 audit of LEDtronics® was performed by QMI, a division of
the Canadian Standards Association. QMI is acknowleged as one of the most
highly respected ISO auditing organizations.
