introduced a new generation of extra-long discrete LEDs featuring 42mm long
terminals. These 42mmLong Terminal LEDs are ideal for circuit status/logic
status fault indicators, printed circuit board (PCB) mounted status panel
indicators, and telecom networking indicators.
Because splicing doesn't need to be applied manually, the new 42mm Long
Terminal LEDs offer a major cost and labor savings over traditional LEDs.
In addition, as with all LEDs, they are very reliable, with an average life
of 100,000 hours or more, and offer high intensity with low power consumption.
These LEDs are solid-state, resistant to shock and vibration and have fast
turn-on/turn-off times.
LEDtronics® 42mm Long Terminal LEDs are available in both standard and
special colors. Single or bicolor configurations are available. The diffused
lens is standard, with a clear lens optional. Three indicator options are
available: rectangular and 3mm or 5mm oval. In the 1,000 piece quantity
for standard colors, pricing is 20 cents each. The 42mm Long Terminal LEDs
are available in production quantities in 4-6 weeks with samples and/or
prototype quantities available to qualified customers in one to two weeks.
