its new 41PCT 170 Series of quad-level T-1 LED packages ideally suited for
high density circuit board applications where added display indicators can
enhance product or system functions.
The 41PCT170 Series offers the designer virtually any combination of diffused
, wide angle , high intensity T-1 LEDS, in RYG (red, yellow, green) or tri-color
T-1 LEDS in the RYG color spectrum. These LEDs are available in high efficiency,super
bright and super efficiency low current (2ma) versions or with an integral
resistor network for 5V and 12 operation. The low current LEDs exhibit excellent
brightness and are ideal for backlit display panel applications. The 41PCT170
Series has been designed for reliability and long life and is rated at 100,000
hours average MTBF.
Precision molded into a heat- and shock-resistant housing of 94V-0 UL-rated
plastic, each quad-level LED station features an interlocking design which
forms a rigid array assembly for assured horizontal and vertical alignment.
A narrow .175" (4.46mm) x .420" (10.67mm) per station footprint
allows placement of a 4-station array (16 LEDs) in only .700" (17.78mm)
W x .800" (20.32mm) H. For through-hole panel lighted displays the
LEDs extend .150" (3.81mm) from the front of the housing and standoffs
at the base of each station to enable post assembly cleaning for removal
of solder residue and contaminants.
Applications for the 41PCT170 Series include computer peripherals, modems
and data communications equipment as well as display and status indicators
for a wide range of commercial and industrial instrumentation and control
panels.
Unit prices on the quad-level T-1 LEDs are $1.50 per station in 1,000 piece
quantities for mixed or single color, high intensity packages. Availability
is 30-45 days (quantity dependent). Samples are available to qualified customers.
