TORRANCE, Calif., April 17, 2023 — LEDtronics® is proud to announce an updated series of their industry-leading offering of LED Small Dome Panel Mount Indicator bulbs. The new Snap-In lamps with a mounting diameter of 12.7mm (0.5 inch) are offered in a choice of eight colors, and are the ideal replacement for old-technology incandescents in industrial panels, automotive indicators, and as pilot lights for machines and instruments.
The PSD50 series of indicator bulbs are rated for an input of 24/28 volts DC, but are also available in all standard voltages. With a power usage of less than 1 watt, they produce much brighter uniform light intensity while remaining energy-efficient, with up to 90 percent energy reduction over old-technology bulbs. In addition, they have a much longer lifespan of up to 100,000 hours, as well as lower maintenance.
Available as 652nm Ultra Red, 636nm Super Red, 613nm Super Orange, 596nm Super Yellow, 572nm Super Lime Green, 520nm Aqua Green, 463nm Super Blue, and 8000K Cool White, the lamps feature a 3mm Lexan 101-112 dome lens in the corresponding color. They come in a black, low-profile snap-in housing with a 16mm black bezel, with both sleeve and header in Nylon 66.
The lamps fit 12.7mm (0.5 inch) diameter mounting holes for panels of 1.8 to 3.2 mm (0.070~0.125 inch) thickness, with 4.95mm (0.195 inch) wide brass male tab terminals in a dull finish. Wire leads and screw terminal connections are also available. The IP66-rated enclosure has protected resistance to strong jets of water. The lightweight lamps weigh only 0.09 ounces.
The PSD50 series has current consumption of 0.010A to 0.020A, and offers 20° illumination with luminous Intensity of 0.18 to 5.08 candelas.
